Wiki Tips

Every so often I will post tricks and tips for using the wiki in this section.
Tip #1 You can leave a "signature" of sorts anywhere on the wiki. This is generally used to show who added the content and when, you might have seen it on this page near the Event Schedule where I added a little element that shows my name, picture, and when I made the edit. It looks like this: - dsruss dsruss Nov 1, 2010
To do this, you just need to type four tildes(~) in a row. The tilde is the little symbol just below your escape key on the keyboard and you have to hold shift down to get it. Give it a try! - dsruss dsruss Nov 4, 2010

Tip #2 If you are the organizer of a wiki, you can make each page in the wiki have its own discussion thread. To do this, you just need to go to the Manage wiki link on the left, then under Settings, choose Wiki Info. In this page, you can sscroll down a bit to find a drop down box regarding choices for the discussions available on pages. - dsruss dsruss Nov 16, 2010
